Books

I used to fucking love those books. All Enid Blyton books actually. She rules, even from the grave.

Spiffo go out and buy- Shallow Graves by Paul B Kidd and some other guy whose name escapes me and im too lazy to look at the bookcase ..But it is a brilliant read about some of Australias most callous killers very very good read. Drew Careys Dirty Jokes and beer is a good read too. ALso get the Chronicle of Australian history, very good read and only about half the price of what i paid for it when it was first printed a few years back

That is all for know i have a few more history/war reccomendations, just gotta be bothered to get of my arse and walk over to the bookcases

I never enjoyed CS Lewis much. Should try re-reading them now I'm a bit older and wiser.

When I was a lad, I liked to read Enid Blyton's Secret Seven novels (much better than the Famous Five IMHO) and Roald Dahl's children's books. Then I got into the stuff he wrote for adults and it was all downhill from there :heh:.

Aside from my tastes in horror fiction, I do enjoy a good old-fashioned British mystery. Agatha Christie puts me to sleep I'm afraid (she'd *never* get published today), but I'm quite fond of Ruth Rendell and Minette Walters amongst others.
