this might be a dumb question because i dont visit this forum often (although i need to start to more) but when is borknager going to tour america? i dont beleive it says on the official site cause all there is their is news. i got empiricism a couple of months ago and i fuckin love it so i want to see them live :)

This would be awesome! I would definitely love to see Borknagar. Could you please come anywhere in the southern part of the US? Charlotte(preferrably), Winston-Salem(there is a club there called Ziggy's that gets good metal concerts), Raleigh, or Atlanta would be really cool.

I can give you or the promoter/management more details about the clubs. I would really like to see this happen.

You really should sing more. Your back up vocals for Emperial live ceremony were absolutely beautiful. "Upon these sea's-Upon these sea's" Yeah sea's of my tears as I cry at your greatness! (Yes I am a world class ass kisser!);)

we've had problems with a too occupied webmaster, and have just recently switched, and that guy is working on the new design right now, I've been told that it will be up and running in a week or two, be patient.

YEAH! A Borknagar American tour!!!!!!!!!! WOOT! Make it to San Fransisco California and im a happy camper, THE GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL! Oh yeah :headbang:

While your at it get Finntroll, Vintersorg (YOU JUST NEED MATTIAS), and an Otyg reunion for a closer, THAN it will be amazing

:rolleyes: :p

F_V you really want it all, don't you?

Maybe you should tell this in the dream thread :p

Of course I wish all the Americans that they do a tour there, I also hope for the band, if they tour, that they have a pleasant tour, I know the tour deals in the US... Europe is far better to tour!

I just can't wait to hear Vintersorg live handling "Dawn of the end"...should be a glorious thing...in 99, Simen changed up the vocal melody, which was disappointing....

@Morg yes I do :D

I really should check out pre-VS Borknagar...maybe ill download a bunch before i go to bed. Yeah thats it... :)

For various reasons , there will be no american tour for this album.
It's quite clear that the tour-planning for Empiricism was lacking , and now its really not enough time to work out an american tour this summer. We thought we could perhaps delay the tour until November , but we found that working on the new album in the last two months of this year would be the correct priority for us.
We'll spend Jan-feb ++ in the studio , and we target April or August for the release , hopefully worldwide. Touring will start shortly thereafter.

We're looking at the Milwaukee Metal Fest in July , which will be our only appearance stateside this time 'round. This is however , still uncertain.

Europe will see alot more of us this time than the Americans will , we're adding a few more festivals to our plans , and there will be a European tour in October. I'll give an update on that later on.

Our web-site is almost finished , just a few more days now :)
