On a related note, I got Lympahtic Phlegm's Bloodsplattered Pathological Dysfunctions, and holy shit is it insane. The vocalist sounds like a fucking dog, it's so insane.

The vocals are pitch shifted. Lymphatic Phlegm is fucking amazing though, their new album is chock full of riffs.

Anyone else here like Disoluto and Wormeaten? It seems that every Columbian brutal death metal band kicks ass to some extent.

The reason Colombian bands rule is because of the inherent charm of pretty much all of them. They usually write sloppy, fast, and slammy songs with lots of room for improvement...especially in the vocals, Nick and I have found. BUT it's this sloppiness that makes us love them, both because it makes them more appealing to our "primitive" sides (you can only have so many Malignancy-like bands doing tight slammy grind stuff, etc.) and because we know they can improve and make even BETTER shit.

True, and also the fact that the few bands that have improved beyond sloppiness are fantastic. Examples include Goretrade and Ancient Necropsy.
