Brutal/Slam Death Metal

Truly the best slam album ever, Nothing can take it's place, it's just perfect.

I know that they almost create everything that compose Slam but I found a lot of albums more enjoyable in the style than theirs...
Note that I don't want to blaspheme.

You're weird then. Aversion to Life is really good... but the others are fairly lame.

Wormed - Planisphaerium is known as a good album, and one of the best, but why? It's different, but I don't think any of the songs are memorable. I was just wondering how other people felt about it. Does differentiating really make you an awesome band, or does it make it too obscure?

It is on its own level of brutality and heaviness. The songs are memorable to me because they are all so good. I love the non-traditional riffing and just everything about it is a step above every other slam album. In my view there has not been a better album released after Planisphaerium (although a few have come close).

A french slam band they have a demo and they are going to enter studio tomorrow for their debut.
It's not very good but I like the Dying Fetusesque guttural voice and the last riff of the 2nd song is made for headbanging.
Also it's cool to see a lil' bit of BDSM in my country.

The vocalist for Katalepsy deserves a place up there too IMO. I've heard no shortage of guttural growls and pig squeals, but his vocals are like a fucked-up snarl of some sort...But Wayne Knupp and Matti Way are at the top of that list in my opinion.
And Vladamir sucks. In the End of Human Existence would be one of my all-time favorite brutal DM albums if they had a better vocalist.
