Burr Brown opamps

Man, I just replaced the control room and aux in paths on my console to Burr Brown's from the old 70's TL072 and 5532 and good lord, HUGE difference. I get it sounding just like if not better than straight out of the interface. Super clarity. Cost me $20 total. So if you have gear that sounds cloudy or eh and you want more, try it out. Anybody else done this?

I bet this makes a huge difference on those pre's. I have done this on several pedals. The difference is noticeable, but not always better there. I've been meaning to do this to my ADA8000 though.

I left the pre's as is actually. They're transformer input and I like the API quality. But moving from monitoring off the fader to the aux in(ad/da st out) was just nuts. Way different, so I had to do something.
