His works have always had this sense of individuality in them, his black metal music is certainly pretty original.

I just gave Filosofem a listen after probably over two years, having been turned off namely by the 25 minute monstrosity. My perspective on that album has completely shifted. I previously thought that the rest of that album was merely okay with the 25 minute ambient track being an abomination, but it truly is an amazing piece of art. The next step is to revisit Hvis Lyset Tar Oss.

Both good reads, especially the former, but the latter gets a bit weird at the end when he refers to predetermination, which is a bit silly. A bit eclectic.

Is it a guarenteed fact that Varg is getting out of jail in April? He's eligable for parole, but does that mean he's going to get it?

Varg supposedly posted on burzum.org recently and told the visitors that he will release a new album this year which will be similar sounding to Filosofem.

No matter what kind of new music Varg will finally release, it will sell like hell! I stopped buing his records after the "Hvit..." album, but I am curious. Maybe he surprise us all with a "killer"-album.
