Anyone out there worried about young Mr. Bush's ability to replace Mr. Belladonna: Quit worrying, the man has got it. He really seemed to enjoy himself in Dublin last night despite nearly losing an eye during Antisocial.
bush has been in the band 11 years and he rocks and is one hell of a vocalist
belladonnas voice annoys me now only really listen to sown stomp and vol8 and will be listening to the new album when NB send it through
Have to agree. Bush rocked last night in Dublin. The rest of you looking forward to seeing them in the UK, brace yourselves. Its gonna be one hell of a party.
He is a hell of a vocalist now, but dig out your old Arm. St. vinyls and tell me what you hear. For many last night he still had questions to answer, and what a job he did of it! Woo, and indeed, Yaaay. Thrax has bought out something in him that just wasn't there in Arm. St. and he makes Mr. Belladonna look kinda lazy.
Have to agree. When i was asked yesterday afternoon by my mates who I'd rather have as a vocalist, I'd have said Joey, but not any more. The emotion he put into the songs last nigt was incredible. Also someone remind me ... who is Dan Spitz again??? They play just as well without him.
Bush was an accomplished vocalist before he joined Anthrax (anyone remember Armoured saint).
The new album is definetly more suited to his vocal style - and he can definetly outshine Joey whilst singing the old tunes.
Right on Johnny; who the fuck is worried?? Bush has been with Anthrax one and a half times as long as Joe was..........anyone on this board should know Bush=Anthrax. I thought this issue was settled by most people about 1995???
When I saw them at the Apollo last year John sang 'I am the law' way better than Joey could ever hope to.
I'd like the band to re-record some classic Joey era tracks with John singing and new arrangements. Is this just me?
