I hope it doesn't get to the point of Joey doing the new tunes. Hopefully they'll keep this just a "nostalgic" anniversary tour and do only material up until SOWN. I can't picture Joey singing any of the Bush era tunes, especially What Doesn't Die. Although I couldn't picture John singing Joey's tunes either when he first joined. John singing the old stuff sounds damn good, I don't think Joey's voice would have a positive effect on the new material.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Just dont let him sing any of Johns Songs......

Or the Badger will get it!!!!

I poke badgers with spoons!!!

I doubt Joey could pull of any of the songs John did. Apart from 604, that's a pretty easy one for him.

Joey should just stick to his era of songs. they should just record a live dvd and a new album! not to crazy about the bush era...now that anthrax has joey and dan back im stoked about it!!! Love the classic line-up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Joey could sing a lot of the Bush-era songs - they are not THAT difficult and they should give it a try, it would be interesting to hear.

I am not bashing either singer here, but I think that Joey would not be so hot on the John tunes. John did not insert the word "whoa" into every other line of the song. So we might have a problem.

Aside from that, the whole point of this reunion is - well - it's a fucking reunion. So I think it would be cool if they just stuck to Joey era songs. Well, turbin songs too. I don't give a fuck I just want to hear Lone Justice and maybe some PANIC!!! Maybe a few obscure tunes too, like ADI or Finale.

I'm done.

Actually one of the main reasons they dumped Joey was because they wanted to have a fresher sound, something they weren't going to be able to do with Joey because vocally he couldn't evolve. I mean could you honestly imagine Joey trying to pull off "Only" "Inside Out" or "What Doesn't Die" (just for example?

Joey doesn't have that powerful vocal that John does to be able to switch tempo and key. It's wail and yeah or nothing with Joey.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. Although I do like some Bush era Anthrax.

At the end of Joey's years with anthrax, it was hard for him to sing is own song, imagine 13 years later singing the Bush song?? Forget that.. John is so superior than Joey.

I agree, But there isn't really anything we can do about it. And dont say it to often.........read The New Rules

I would prefer to just hear the old shit....Like someone said, Ozzy doesn't sing the Mob Rules and Heaven and Hell shit even though some people liked it..If they did throw in a song or two that would be cool I guess but I never really liked much of the Bush-Era Anthrax...
