Bushy concerning Amnesty International: "people who HATE AMERICA."

I am thinking about enlisting as I've said before.

Good for you, man. In the words of your leader, "you're either with us or against us". No point being ambivalent, there's no family or career at stake here, just pick up the phone and enlist.

Matt Barlow, lead vocalist for Iced Earth, gave it all up and joined Homeland Security. He wanted to do something for his country, and although I totally disagree with Bush's agenda (because there is no dispute that he's a crook), I totally applaud Barlow for his career change. He earns my respect because he put his money where his mouth is.

Just let your soldiers come home now, but for those that want to stay, by all means, knock yourselves out. All the best. The rest of us will just watch Iraq revert back to exactly where it was in about 7.456 years, give or take a nano-second.

Soldiers should expect to face war. Go join the military? It would benefit me very little to do so. I don't wish to join the Police Department, so being a Marine would bare little value on my resume. Don't get all hissy, because an opposing viewpoint gets thrown into the mix. When a kid signs on the dotted line to enlist in the armed forces. He should realize the cons. That being...he could die. This isnt the Icelandic army, where you go out and hunt polar bears.

I fail to see how OneInchMan owned me in any argument. Obviously Fotbm still has yet to recover the common sense he lost from the brutal beating bestowed by a dozen irate scandanavian my pals...and you feel the need to propogate things further. Where I just wished to state my opinion once. Not get in a drawn out discussion with a bunch of liberals devoid of reason. Tis a sad day. As I enjoy this boards musical discussions. Yet the political threads are quite cancerous.

How was my argument devoid of reason? Because I disagreed with you, and in several cases (not every) showed factual evidence? I don't follow that logic.

I didn't realize this was an argument to get butthurt over, I'm sorry you feel that way.

America does too!

I've never seen a bear in person (except my dog, his name is Bear), surprising with all the time I've spent in the mountains. Uhh, *knocks on wood* or something.

Never seen a bear and you go into nature? I can't go camping/hiking/fishing for more than 2 hours without running into one. Luckily we have no grizzly's on the island, only black bears... black bears for the most part( Unless they are garbage dump bears, then they're psycho ) are chicken shits.

I avoid political discussions except with people who are good friends, otherwise you just end up making enemies.

Where do you live? I'm in So. California and yeah, I've never seen a bear in person, and I've spent all kinds of time in the mountains, camping/hiking/wandering. Seen lots of wildlife, just no damn bears.

Vancouver Island in BC (Western Canada).

I've woken up and gone outside with my breakfast in the summer and watched a bear shit on our fence before (we live at the edge of town) and i've also seen a cougar try and attack my dog through the fence as well.

The scariest was when the pack of wolves wandered into our campsite while msot people were asleep, but they got bored after about an hour when they realized they couldn't get at the food (we suspend it from a large branch so the bears can't get at it).

From Bush to wildlife all in one fell swoop, only at RC. :loco:

I like it when camping and a shitload of coyotes gather round and whoop in the middle of the night, that sounds kicks so much ass.

Do you know any places in So Cal with waterfalls?
Forest Falls, I think that's the only one I've been up close and personal with.

Never heard a coyote in real life, there are none in the area I live for some reason.
It's kind of like a high pitched repetitive whoop/yip sound, it's really cool. Although one time in the middle of nowhere with 2 friends about 70 coyotes were surrounding us, it was sorta creepy then. :dopey:
