I've never had a problem I couldn't deal with on my own via internet with this kind of thing. I was looking for a stream of Louie and long story short Internet Explore Add On Installer pops up every minute.

Three anti virus softwares couldn't take care of it. I'd just as soon take Internet Explorer off the damn computer but it's not on my list of programs.

So yeah, I feel like a noob right now.

I do use Fire Fox, I just can't get IE off my computer.

try using Spybot Search and Destroy once, good for finding those browser shit things, and for immunizing against them.

Because programs you install, uninstall and such leave entries in your registry and whatnot. A healthy format C: every now and then makes sure your PC runs as fast as it can.

Thats why i run CCleaner at least once a week , you should try it , no need to format the drive all the time , there are a lot of programs that can delete/uninstall unwanted registry but i recommend CCleaner
