Can the other opeth members sing or growl?

Yeah, it's kind of strange that only Per sings backing vocals and earlier nobody else did, even though there are loads of parts with two or more vocal lines in Opeth songs... I find it hard to believe that none of the guys can sing a damn note!

This is just another quality issue of Opeth.

Perhaps the martins can sing, but obviously not good enough,
so they leave everything up to Mike. Previously it was
Wilson and now Per.

I think it's good. It's a sign of good judgement.

Didn't Per do the backing vocals to Blackwater Park on the part after the clean passage when they played it live? Atleast I think they did it in SF. If they didn't.. then maby it was my head playing tricks on me..

Are you talking about Sarmatia? Mendez and Lopez were in that band. I've got a copy of the demo tape.
