A lot of metallers might say Dimmu are not tr00 black metal or whatever but I really don't give a rats ass. I rather listen to them than Cradle Of Filth (God, I hate that band).

I listen to both. They each have interesting music that I enjoy, despite how "commercial" or "Untr00" they may be.

Coming from someone who referred to C:rofl:x as brutal death metal.

You don't seem to read very well, do you? read one of the posts I made before. I don't really need to explain myself.

Goregrind.

Who cares if it's Goregrind? it's still grindcore. Goregrind is a term used to describe the lyrical style of the band (and image in some occasions). The term is practically irrelevant when it comes to the actual music.

Oh, I did.

You're still wrong... just less wrong.

 Oh really? well back yourself up with facts and then i'm going to give your opinion some credit.

:puke:

I want and expect nothing of the sort, considering you had the lack of knowledge to claim that the subgenre 'goregrind''s primary (or even sole) difference from the 'pure' parent genre is lyrical content.

Goregrind, generally, is grindcore style music with death metal influenced riffs and often, vocals. In other words, a veritable mix between the two genres.

Example?

Listen to Nasum. Now, listen to Pig Destroyer. Now, listen to C:rofl:x's 'To Serve Man.' Exhumed.

If don't hear a major difference, you're pretty much hopeless.

Now, porno/splattergrind...

Listen to the C:rofl:x and Exhumed again... and then listen to Cock and Ball Torture. Regurgitate. Mucupurulent.

The subgenres exist. It is you who bears the burden of proof.

It is primarily, where do you think the word GOREgrind comes from?

And who said the genres don't exist? please read again my sentence

Who cares if it's Goregrind? it's still grindcore.

Even if the genre is goregrind, pornogrind (you name it) it's still grindcore and you can't deny that.

The point was (and still is) that To Serve Man is more influenced by Death Metal than grindcore, I didn't even said that Cattle Decapitation didn't have grindcore influences. To categorize To Serve Man as a death metal album is not wrong, you can't deny the death metal influences it has.

No shit.

Goregrind by definition is grindcore with a heavy death metal influence. However, it is a subgenre of grindcore, not death metal.

Oh man let me explain this again. I know the definition of goregrind so don't worry buddy. Nowhere on my post I said that goregrind was a subgenre of death metal (check my post above for more info)
