Can't Amon Amarth US Headlining Tour, goddamn it!?

I've seen Amon Amarth like 5 times now in the states, and have never seen them play more than 8 songs! Every time they come out they're opening for somebody! Even at their first-ever US appearance at Milwaukee Metal Fest 2001, they only played 8 songs (although they played Metal Wrath and Victorious March, which was awesome!). They opened for Nile and Kreator in 2002, only played a half-an-hour, and the same last 2 times they came. I think they're popular enough to headline, already! I want to see a show like that one on the goddamn DVD! I mean, c'mon, I like Children of Bodom too, but Amon Amarth is WAAAY better.

I think the responce they've been getting at the last few tours here in the states is enough for a headline tour. Its long over-due

I actually just asked Fredrik that question two days ago and his response was that if they sell enough CDs and the promoters are up for it then it can happen and it doesn't seem too far away.

They played 10 songs here in Dallas on Monday.

Hopefully the US Headline tour will be next time!
