Just want to update this old post, started going through them and it's kinda funny to re-read some of them, some good memories...anyways this is what I've got now 6 years later...well over 800 CD's, 45 Vinyls, and about 170 band DVD's as well.

As a student with no money, I have been able to get me a CD collection of about 50 albums.

I got roughly 630, I'd say about 90% metal and prog with the other 10% being rock, punk, alternative and whatever else.
If I hadn't sold any album over the years I'd probably have around 770.

Last I remember I have about 250 Cd's I had over 300 but sold alot of dust collectors to the local used Cd shop
Probably would have tripple that if it wasn't for digital , good thing i was running out of room anyway LOL!!!

I just can't bring myself to get rid of "dust collector's". Sure I have had a 30GB ipod since late 2005, but I still buy the CD's and add them to the colletion, 1/4 of them are signed by the bands too, so they're just too precious to sell for $2-$5 each
