Oh bullshit. Erik and I concluded not long ago that if the very strong tracks from Nordland I and II were combined, it would make a simply legendary album. Aside from that fantasy, the albums are great. Ring of Gold is his best non metal piece EVER.

What on earth are you yapping on about? Explain yourself young man, this instant.

I'm saying that some of the tracks on Nordland I and II are better than the others. If Quorthon had taken all of these very strong tracks, the absolute best of the two albums, and combined them into one SUPAR album simply called "Nordland", than it would just be a lot better, of course in my own humble opinion. (This is all hypothetical jabber)

I was bullshitting the "everyone can't see beyond the trilogy and is living in the past" part. It helps to be a youngster, I'm tellin' ya.

ooooooooohh, I get ya. OK I thought you were disagreeing with what I said about Nordland II. Anyway, *most* people do focus on the trilogy. 23 out of 26 votes right in this poll proves that. :loco:

Is that really considered a Trilogy? Blood Fire Death doesn't even sound like the same band that produced Hammerlight of the Gooks.

Despite Hammerhearts 10/10 status, it is grossly overrated. (Yeah, flame all you want). I almost went for Nordland I for the hell of it, but BFD prevails once again... and it always will.

I've only given "Under The Sign Of The Black Mark" and "Hammerheart" the amount of attention that Bathory albums allegedly need, so I shan't vote. I did prefer "Under The Sign", though.
