I can't wait untill everyone reads that transcript of the chat and then decides it's not a good enough explanation. No matter what Scott and Charlie do, people are going to come on here and rip them apart for it, and I feel bad about that.

Well, I can't help saying their explanation is NOT really good enough: they didn't say anything new about John Bush, there's no mention of Dan Spitz. The most part of the chat was dedicated to Joey Belladonna...

You assume that what was posted was the entire chat, but it wasn't. In any event, even if the entire chat was posted you wouldn't accept it anyway.

I hope they do shut down this board.

from what I read...it seems there's a communication problem some where...there's 2 sides to every story..and in between lies the truth...
It's a shame they didn't make a record together again,
If Joey got an equal cut for the reunion tour...and for this new album and was an official share holder in Anthrax...I don't know why he would turn it down??? I guess we'll never know?
In hindsight they should have said once the reunion started :
"This is only a reunion tour..to kick out the old classics...after the tour is over in 9 months, we will resume activites with the WCFYA line up , which is our present 'real' line up"
That was never said...and alot of vague answers etc. got the fans to have wishful hopes etc....
I wish all parties well...I'm sure the band isn't happy about this either...

They wouldn't say that because they were hedging their bets. By staying as noncommittal as possible, it potentially left the door open for whichever seemed like it would have the best chance of success...would Joey, Dan, and Frank have really returned if Scott and Charlie only promised them a temporary gig? I can see it from Scott and Charlie's point of view why they wouldn't want to do that. But ultimately the plan backfired, because neither Joey or John felt that there was any sort of commitment to them...at least that's how it appears from the outside.

So we can speculate.... Joey crammed it in their asses. No tour with Sabbath = no money. Kudos to Joey, and like scott said, I will tell him that when I see him out on tour. :lol:
 
I understand that they did not explain everything to the fullest - but that's what I am talking about - nobody on here is ever happy with anything they do. If they don't speak up, you guys trash them. If they speak up but leave some holes you guys trash them. If they fill in all the holes, you guys say it's still not good enough!

This is one fucked up family.

I was happy to see the reunion....I grew up WITH Anthrax here in NYC..even saw them w/ Neil Turbin at the Roseland Ballroom..which was killer!. I went to countless L'Amours shows too..always had a great time.
I just think concrete answers are better than vague ones...
I'm rooting for the band..and hopefully all works out well...
