Check this meshuggish rough clip: "CHUGAWOOKA"

Holy shit that sounds epic. Just which Engl IR is that?? I'd love to hear some more on the post processing of guitars!

Just checked out the website of the sampled guitar library (forgot it's name allready.. shit) but it's the real deal indeed.. made in japan and it does not seem like it's getting the exposure it deserves, but im guessing a shitload of game music/score creators allready have this anyway, as it does sound perfect for the job.

Blackneonbob:

Yeah, dude, I love the sound of the bass too :kickass: hehe.

Erkan:

Don't you believe that you are being a bit exaggerated? You please me with your words.

I have had to tolerate a lot of people's criticisms that accused me to use virtual guitars. They were considering it a dishonorable act. Wouldn't be also a dishonorable act for the drummers the fact that I use virtual drums too? And, however, that is not so criticized. And no, it was not a teaser of my album ( btw, I am going to record an album, but the mix is a bit older, and doesn't have this sound. This sound would be the one of my following album.).

Regarding the musical genre that I do ... I don't like to stereotype me in any genre. In fact, almost always, at the time of composing, I am changing of genre, but not of sound. Nu Metal, Djent stuff, Death, Progressive, Hard Rock ... I am in the search of the "perfect mix".

I'm doing plenty of publicity of the guitars Prominy. I think that it's time to be getting paid because of that.

I should have suspected the Japanese. They do make mighty fine robots....and video games...and tentacle porn...and guitars....

Specially the tentacle porn, huh? You f***in' pervert!!!! hahahahahahah:lol:

Honestly, those videos on Prominy's website are ridiculous. If I didn't know those were sampled, I would've thought it was real guitars. This is probably the best sample based solution I have ever seen.

Well, these demos (except Snowy Road) are a bit "nasal" and "unreal" IMO... And yes, it is the best sample based solution!:headbang:

is the sample library just DI tracks? i kind of find it hard to believe thats a strat also

Exactly, DI samples mixed with Revalver MKIII. And yes, it's a Fender Stratocaser (such an awful guitar to make djent stuff...)

so prominy sells both a clean guitar version and a distortion guitar version. im assuming you used the clean samples and then ran it through revolver. It looks like they have a les paul gibson sample library as well as the strat. i think the les paul would be better for this type of music.

Sickan, Erkan:

Seriously, dudes, VOCALOID are the most shitty synth vocals in the word. They sound toooooooooo much japanese and synthetic. If I had the "Prima" Vocaloid library, I could be a bit more realistic, but it doesn't work in my laptop (I don't know why... it just f**** me off... :erk: )...

Try East West, Voices of Passion

I have both Les Paul and Strat, but I really prefer Strat cuz it sounds more realistic than LP. And Strat has C tuning, while LP is E standard (strange, isn't it?)
