Childhood Misconceptions.

I used to think that, since the UN was made of a bunch of different countries and what not, there was a floating castle in which all of the UN members met for their meetings >_>

I used to think the conductors wand (is that what its called?) made all the music. So I was sitting at my sisters concert with my dad and I kept saying "whats that thing the ladies waving, and how does the music come out of it?" and he said "thats the (something, I forgot what he said) and it makes a variety of noises". I didn't realize 'til a couple years later that he was just messing with me.

I used to think people were unable to hear people when the louder they yelled, because when the vacuum cleaner would be on and I would scream my mom would say she couldn't hear me.

Yeah. Actually for a time I thought I was the subject of some bizarre social experiment, ala The Truman Show.

I cried during the scene where he's in the boat yelling at the dudes. I was very sad that people were so mean to him all the time and he didn't know it and then when he realized it they wouldn't let him out. I was like 8.

when i was younger there used to be this shop with blacked out windows called The Black Rose and whenever we used to drive past it i'd always ask mum or dad if we could go there for dinner sometime, found out later on in life that it was the local porno shop and no we never did go there for dinner!!

I hated it when things touched. It still bothers me, but just a little.
I also eat things off my plate one at a time; like, I'll eat the string beans, then the chicken curry. Not sure if that's weird or not.

You guys make me realise just how long it's been since I've had a multiple-course meal.

Yay for college.
