First time I saw this something like two years ago I wondered why this video is named after the IOSYS song/video. Btw I re-enacted that video with friend once, I was playing PotC theme with guitar while my friend did the helicopter.

Not thrilled with the playing but I'm trying to record with actual gear and mic for the first time and it's hard as a mother fucker. It can't not get it to sound distant even though the mic is touching the cab. I'm putting extra presence to compensate. It's probably because I'm not playing loud enough. If I put too much mic gain it sounds like shit.

nice cover! its difficult to get a good sound with a mic when you can't have the amp cranked. The tone wasn't bad but could use more attack, play around with mic position, the edge of the cone, 1 cm away is pretty standard
