I think it's interesting to see how the focus is on this case
since I'm really into black metal, or metal in general myself...

And people at work come up to me asking if I knew the guys
or the band, what I think about it, how I feel about it etc >P

That's one of those stories that I just shake my head to.

The part about blaming metal, or music in general - that's just peoples way of placing blame on something, and it's just idiotic.

The actual act carried out - just another vision of why I sometimes hate being human. I see no point in it. If it was about puiblicity - dumb reason. If it was about increasing sales - dumb reason. I don't even know the band, but I'd be surprised if their merit was judged on their music alone. I don't think anybody true to their profession needs to stoop to such levels - unless they just plain suck at what they do, and they felt they needed some sort of jumpstart.
