What are the odds that this will sell out in advance? Will I be able to get tickets at the door?

If you read my post from yesterday, you know how I feel! There are *only* 200 tickets to start. We are talking about Circle II Circle doing a special show, people are flying in for this one, others are driving a pretty far distance. Additionally, you have local veterans, Halcyon Way who will be pulling people in, another local Eclipsed by Sanity, and us in Odin's Court coming down from MD to make our first appearance in the Atlanta area.

I don't know how many have sold so far, but I can't imagine it not selling out. Plus, if it is anything like the shows we normally play at Jaxx, the last two weeks ticket sales SHARPLY increase. Tickets are only $12, I'd recommend getting them ASAP in order to avoid the disappointment of listening to Zak through concrete walls. I think if you count on buying them at the door, that just might be the case. This is going to be a special show, I hope you don't miss it!:headbang:
 
Don't procrastinate, y'all -- Rick's right; tickets start flying for any good show the two weeks prior. Inviolate's got a big show the day before, but I'm going to get at least two of my guys to come (telling them their best bet is to nab their tix on TA *now*) and I'm totally looking forward to bellydancing my little heart out to some awesome metal :D

perhaps I can arrange this for you. but from the way I see it...we're gonna be doing sound check before the doors open. We kinda have a special thing planned, so it would defeat the purpose of us being visible before the show is suppose to start.

And of course, I was kiddin' anyway. (A double-entendré joke, since I have no problem with death vox, and I don't drink. Much. :))

EDIT: looking back, I wasn't actually referring to either Odin's Court or EbS, just cracking a joke about the good ol' days of ProgPower, when Glenn would announce an 'oddball' band (back then, that always meant some death vox) and the "I'll be buying CDs/drinking/rearranging my sock drawer" posts would start flyin'. :heh:

and the best news is that with all of the refurbishing lately, there is also the rule of NO SMOKING inside the music venue! WooHoo!!!

The bar and grill side of things still allows smoking of course, so all the smokers can take a break between bands. But at least now the smoke won't be in the room clouding up everything and also bothering the singers by the end of the night. :)

we'll reserve stuff like that for Halcyon Way's Halloween Specials.

We are now 'officially' planning rather than tentatively, considering its pretty much a done deal as of a few hours ago. We're looking forward to giving everyone a new perspective on what we do and the steps we're taking to improve every show.
