It's my dream to be able to eventually afford to buy a viol. One day I hope to actually take up playing this instrument. Along with the harpsichord, I am totally obsessed with it.

that's really cool. i once a had a short-term girlfriend who was a cellist and she could play the viol. i only saw her perform on the cello, though. i would have loved to see her play the viol. i wish i could play the instrument myself, but that really will not happen.

Why not? (I must admit, I feel the same way right now, but I just REALLY want to do it one day. I dont care if Im 50 when this happens, as long as I do it).
