Hasn't changed in price since it arrived before Christmas. I'm shocked that a copy has gone missing (presumed sold). There is plenty of other novels in the shop for $12 or cheaper and there is a few band books in the $20 price range but a price that high is usually reserved for the 'popular' bands/musos and or the album type books that have lots of photos in them. Either KK's publisher dictates a high price or KK keeps dropping in and changing the price sticker.

That is pretty damn good, the way Bruce's voice carries a tune is as good as ever.
When he sings the words that appear in the IM song Revelations I expect him to break out and the band to start playing
But other wise it does show what two masters of their class can do together, hard to believe it's 8 years old.

I admit I'd go and see Doro and Metal Church even if it was mainly for Doro with a vague hope that MC could play some classics they way they should be played. But I do like this line from Doro

I love METAL CHURCH — I loved all their records from the early '80s.

I kind of hope she was giving them a kick in the balls under the table but I really don't think she's like that so it was probably closer to saying something polite and true but making sure it was precise.

That's where I think she's a very diplomatic person and thinks about what she says and how it sounds. She didn't name specific albums, or time frames, or people. That way people can assume many things but she's not really offending anyone. Imagine if other people did that too

I know Lita has been around longer than Doro but I found it amusing Doro was giving her an award. I didn't even know Lita was still making music I thought she was spending her days fighting with her ex-hubby because he keeps calling her a psychotic and violent bitch.

This is purely why metals bands should be thankful for NOT being inducted. I'll admit I listened to Def Lep until Hysteria, they weren't absolutely brilliant but they could still rock and audience. But to say they DESERVE the award is pure fucking arrogance and a false sense of entitlement. But to say it about the band you joined after their height in fame, to say it about the band who really has done equal amounts of nothing since you joined is just a joke.

Yeah, same. I know she's talked about an album but I have no idea when her last one came out. Either way Doro is far more relevant. And badass.

Yeah I do remember there was talk of an album, and I remember talk about the Runaways not reuniting and a lot of the blame falling on her. But I really don't think she's done much relevant to the metal/rock world. Maybe she only needs to release an album in the 80's then again in the 30 years later and she has a 'career' spanning 30 years.
