Well from what I remember he thinks if he comes back that Priest should end shortly after. I don't think he likes the idea of them continuing without him now that his golf course has failed. So fuck that.
I find it weird how many people think the 50th should be the swan song for the band with or without KK. Even if they continue releasing albums that aren't great if it's what the band want to release then no one can tell them when it's time to quit.
I reckon KK's idea is that if he comes back JP will be at the ultimate peak, they will be as close to perfect as they can be and since he can't/wont continue touring then it's a logical way to go out, possibly even erasing all bad juju from the non KK years that we all know exists but are too afraid to admit.
