Yeah man he used to come out and just belt Moon Child out. Good stuff.
Ok, official releases? Some people cry like the do,but I'm not sure. I know they've released a live album for the majority of their tours in the last 25 years but there is bound to be bands out there who have self released live shit because they have nothing else.
Lol that's really cool. But he might be singing a different tune if he wasn't in one of the biggest bands in the world.Hehe listening to a 2003 Maiden gig and during Bruce's banter he talks about downloading and cameras and stuff. At one point he tells people not to take photos and says the security guard is coming for them, then laughs and says "fuck it I don't care, take as many as you want". Then he asked about people downloading and when the crowd made a noise he said "You shouldn't download because Metallica don't like it!"
Then he says that if anyone brought in a tape recorder and they want to tape the next song and send it to all their friends, because it's a new song, it's okay! He then says since there is a lot of shit music out there it deserves to be ripped off. But he'd like people to buy the new Maiden if they think it's worthy, however if they don't like it download it because he doesn't give a shit!
Such an entertaining fella

Still, Bruce is cool.
But what about just metal bands? They must be up there.Actually there isn't as many as I thought. Including the new one there is only 13 official live albums and at least one of them was a studio audience for the BBC.
A quick google tells me that they are miles off the official record. Guinness 2019 says the record is held by the Grateful dead who have 167 since 1969, and 150 of them were released after the band disbanded in 1995. They are all official and not bootlegs or the like. Every album has been released on either LP, cassette, or digitally and there is apparently many other recording that included live recordings that were not counted because they made up compilations etc.
