Classics Reborn

Did you see that asshole got on Dee's Twitter and started shit over Ellefson? He's really working it. Guys saving up his 15 minutes 10 seconds at a time. The fact Blabber keeps catching and posting these makes me think you're about him being on the payroll lol.

Dee made the comment that one of the songs on his new album (which I forgot to buy today) is about Blabber commentors. I know he had that BS fight with DW a week or two back and I know he's vocal about Blabber but the guy actually stated that Blabber look after him it's the commentors that suck. How fucking stupid is he, Blabber post the shit and allow the comments, the commentors still suck but without that great treatment by Blabber he wouldn't need to wrote songs about how bad his haters are.

Not thrash but definitely reborn!
Jay and Silent Bob are back for Clerks III. Lionsgate have just announced they have the rights to it and Smith has finished the script to start filming next month. Apparently although Smith thought Clerks II was the best Clerks movie it wasn't received that well and he's decided to go back to the roots and film the new one mostly at the Quick Stop with most of the original cast.

Story goes along the lines of Randall suffers a huge heart attack and decides his life at the store needs to be immortalised so he hires, Dante, Elias, Jay and SB to make movie about it.

Randall's handling of customers at the video shop was the kind of dream all service people have at one point. I actually want to see a movie of his life :)

No way! That's awesome. I had no idea. I liked Clerks two. It was messed up lol.
I do hope it's better than Jay And Silent Bob Reboot. I really didn't care for that one too much.

Apparently it was announced back in Feb but Kevin is officially announcing it now because it's got the full go ahead.
I liked Clerks II as well, the locations and the things they did were great. The appeal of the first one though was definitely the idea of them not going anywhere but the stores while still doing all sorts of things during their work day.

Yeah the Reboot lacked the good funny lines and looked too refined. I think they got too much money for it and they made it look Hollywood instead of back street Quick Stop.

I really didn't like Mallrats when I first saw it, but it grew on me. Chasing Amy I think was another case of too much money and trying too hard, it was okay but I think it could have been better.

I think Chasing Amy is one of the few, maybe only one of his movies I've never seen. I couldn't believe how old everyone looked in the Reboot movie!

Chasing Amy is different because it's serious, he actually tried to tell a story and have a meaning. The problem was many didn't think it worked because it wasn't has stupid funny as the others.
Imagine how old they will look now, it's another 5 years on :)

So I've known about this for years. but not when they were actually together. This is my first listen and wow!! It's so good and actually sounds a lot like Metal Church music wise. Hail Mike Howe!!

I was going to do the same and check them out but I've had a busy weekend. I'm definitely going to check it out after school drop off.

Man it's pretty good

There is a guy over at that metal rarities site (the one with all the bootlegs etc) who adores and dotes on all the Wayne stuff outside of MC. I'm not a doting person but I don't disagree totally with the guy. Seems like both Howe and Wayne did well outside MC.

I'm kinda torn on Wayne. I really like Watch The Children Pray and some other songs. but I hated Masterpiece. The production didn't help.
But I haven't given his solo stuff the time I should.
