Classics Reborn

as a whole I'd take Euphoria over Spreading The Disease as well. There are some great songs on there, a bunch really. But there's some stuff that also seems to me like it was left over from Fist full of metal. A bit pre thrashy. More hard rock or just regular metal maybe. Lone Justice for one and I can't stand Medusa.
Plus the production is pure tin can @times!

It blows my mind that right here according to Ian he is hating it the whole time! WTF

He has his reasons I guess. But I can't agree there!I know he's said that in recording that album,it felt very rushed and didn't come out the way he would have liked.

Have you ever heard this version? I hadn't. It almost has a Fates quality to it. At least I think it does. Anyway the clean vocals really give it totally different feel.

No I haven't,but your right it does have the early Fates feel.Who is singing, and where did you find this?Is it from the reissue?

Yeah right?! Man that guy was talented. I never got into Death when they were around unfortunately It's been like a year and a half, two years? . I was just full up on my bands at the time!
But the good thing to come out of that is that now I have his whole catalog to explore and just dive into. There really aren't a shit load of new or newish bands I like and even less that I follow. I don't know what it is, it's just not the same, but there are exceptions.
So it's like a gift to have something from back in the day (Like the Aversion album!). Especially something so awesomely epic like Death.
I'm really blown away. I had heard a song back in the day Philosopher probably but there is so much more!

I know what you mean better to have discovered later than not at all!I too do not venture out with most newer bands because the energy is certainly there, but the vibe is just not the same.
