Because my PC is used by a few Ppl and i'm afraid they klick it away...

Hi there! I need some help with FTP (I'm not familiar with such programs, sorry): Whenever I try to connect, it tells me that I've entered the wrong URL or host. Well, I entered ftp://rubenios.no-ip.org
So, what have I done wrong?? Please help!

changes in the server:

Max users: 15
I got way to many users downloading at the same time so i've set a limit for this. Else downloading speeds are totally fucked up.

So if you get too many users connected, too bad. don't blame it on me ok

do what ever you have to do to make the server safer.
But will this mean that I will never be able to connect from now on?
Because there is always gonna be at least 15 users on the server.
And I have a feeling that people are just on the server and not downloading anything.

server is running. People who aren't downloading and are idle for more than 300 secs are automatically kicked. i think you triggered the anti hammering script bodom after breakfast disabled this now. So logging shouldn't be too much of a problem. Last night I had about 30 people in the ftp and the speeds suck so much then, so i installed the 15 users max. doing my best here

i got around 5kb/s :|
i'm from belgium and i have a normal ADSL connection
(about 300kb/s download and 40kb/s upload)
