It was some crazy shit. I freaked out when I heard it, even though I probably shouldn't have. Last night (Halloween) was a lame one. I drank a fifth of Jager with my uncle and played the new Castlevania on PS2. Well, about 3-4 AM, after I watched The House on Haunted Hill, I turned it to the DirectTV Metal music channel and thought that would be my choice for the channel to fall asleep to. I set the TV timer for a hour and a half later and prepared to crash. Chimaira was on and I was like, "Eh, whatever". After that I heard something so familiar. I was fucking drunk last night (Jager wasn't all that I drank) but I still recognized it. I looked up at the TV, Sixpounder. I was like "FUCK YEAH!!". I was all singing along to it and shit.

I'm just fucking glad to know that they are finally getting the recognition in the US as they deserve.

I get my music from my parents. My dad listens to shit like Floyd, Sabbath, Zeppelin and Rush when my mom has more the same musical tastes as I. My musical genes come from her. She likes Ozzy, Metallica, Megadeth, etc. etc. Recently, I introduced her to the wonderful world of Europeon metal. I got her hooked on Nightwish (my mom is a singer and thinks Tarja is fucking awesome), Adagio and Evergrey. I told her about the CoB concert and asked if she would want to go with me. I'm the type of person who won't go to concerts alone. I told her CoB was playing in (note: I just found out that they aren't playing in Spokane, I'm fucking PISSED!) Spokane and Nevermore was playing as well. Considering we are from the Seattle area and we are both musicians, she said she knew who Nevermore is. Well, hopefully I can still go to the fucking show. I fucking swore that they were playing in Spokane.......

shit I think I missed it. But I guess this will be the first time they are playing cob. All i ever get to see on tv is chimara, mudvayne and shit similar to that.

you are lucky...I wish my parents were also into such kinda music. My dad listens to Al di meola, Talking heads, Miles Davis and stuff like that. Atleast Rush, led zep are better than these. And my mom is not at all into music. :( I cannot even dream of taking her to a cob show. hehe she will freak out...
