Your imagination
I was just wondering if CoB have this sort of system in operation as I know some other bands do.
If you don't know what it is,it's sort of a marketing technique some bands eg.Trivium,Shadows Fall,Chimera etc. use to help spread the word about their band and generate interest through the active participation of selected dedicated and loyal fans in different locations around the world. Basically a hardcore concentration of a few fans from each country or a few countries together (eg. Ireland would be under the label UK Street crew) that actively promote the band as much as possible in that area.eg posters, promotion over the internet etc..
By asserting their fanboiism or loyalty to the band in this way,the fans involved get A) an excuse to talk about their favourite band all day B) an opportunity to receive special exclusive features about the band and are notified before everyone else about upcoming concerts and events.
C) The opportunity for meet and greets with the band before concerts in their area.:loco:
I personally think this is a great idea for spreading the word about any band in a way that gratifies true fans and amplifies a bands influence in different areas also.
So do you guys know if CoB already do this(I don't think so but I'm not sure) or if this could ever be a possibility?

Am.. Fair enough.. but why not start up something like this? It wouldn't actually cost the band themselves any money..I know some people would hate the sort of fanboi obsessiveness that seems linked with this but it's not just the OMFG IM WRKIN FR ALEKSIIII  sort bullshit but more like a credible way to promote the band effectively and consistently.
People can say whatever they effin like about Trivium but the strong mutual band-fan interaction they have going on is a credit to them.I'm not saying Bodom don't already do enough for their fans..I know they do..I just think this would be a cool idea is all..

Bodom is WAY too popular nowadays. Let's just leave it as it is.

Truth to this

they can live of it and do what they like, i dont see a reason to GET IT OUT THAR LAWL

Some people need to learn from Devin Townsend, there is a limit

Devin who? Anyway I get where you're coming from..generally metal fans don't like to see their favourite band exposed to a wider audience but in fairness it's not making the music any more mainstream..

Hold on a sec, we don't want COB to be a trend band for skater kids.

Ah I dont either, def don't want them to become a trend band.. but I know people who didn't have a clue who CoB were untill I introduced them to them and now they're obsessed, proper metalheads into Slayer,Maiden,Metallica..It would give people with good music tastes a chance to get into them too..
