College Football Thread

Until their current crop of good players graduates, you mean? Wasn't it you guys who said Rutgers has sucked since '78 or something? What's going to change? THEY GOT CRUSHED BY THE BEARCATS. Actually, I hope they remain good, I'm sick of the top 10 being the same damn teams every year, but let's face it, Rutgers was overhyped this season. The same would be said of Michigan and OSU if they got beat by say, Northwestern or Indiana.

They have a good football program now, and have picked up many key recruiting areas. They're also getting better at keeping the star high school players in-state. With success comes more money and better players, you know.

Exactly. Two winning seasons in a row automatically helps you gain recruitment. New Jersey alone has many amazing football players who traditionally go to schools in Florida. That's already beginning to change. Additionally, this has put them in the national spotlight. It's not really a case of overhyping because a story like this really only does come by every few years. Regardless of what you've seen on TV, no one here's been realistically anticipating any kind of national title shot.

haha @ the Florida teams. Except for the Gators, seems like Florida's strangle hold on college football has come to an end. Did the Hurricanes even win a game this year?

DUDE, I totally have a picture of myself pissing on the Krzyzewskiville sign last summer. I'll have to find it
