I finally got a chance to check out Crater earlier this week when my copy came in the mail. Here's what I think of it.
Pros: The intro track is genius, it perfectly sets the mood for the album, I wish it were longer. A great speed/thrash metal vibe throughout. Some nice song arrangements also. The riffs and other guitar work is quite good and flavorful. Really nice melodies and chorus parts, especially on tracks 3, accelerator and 11, syndrome. The lyrics and Mr. V's vocal tracks are moving and impressive.
Cons: The tempo and drum tracks of almost every song sounds too much alike. The production on some of the guitar tracks is a bit off and sounds too shrill at times.
This is all just opinion so, comment as you wish. Overall I love Crater, its perfect pizza delivery music! Gets the blood flowin.
