completely unmetal things that you enjoy

Interesting ;)
I think gothic clubs should play more gothic music, and less dance music (though for whatever reason, that seems most popular among the 'scene'). I don't really care, I do enjoy electronic music but I'm not into anything too up-beat in a dance way...cept for Zombie Girl, I guess that's the closest thing to that. I don't think image really defines being 'metal' or not. I plan on eventually getting a better pair of Demonia boots, I like my current ones but I want a pair that are nicer, at least knee-high or taller and a bit cooler. :)

Yes, the music at gothic clubs is far too electronic, although I've found that my particular club plays better music much later at night. I enjoy darkwave, but not overly electronic dance music found at clubs. I think it's most popular among the scene to play dance music, as the scene includes people who only go to the club to dance. Image defines being metal to a degree; it isn't an important degree, but if you can look metal, it does have something to do with being metal. Besides, anything that results in generally unfavorable comments from metalheads is likely to be something that isn't metal. Funny, my Demonias are knee-high and a bit too cool. Too cool such that their steel plated heels are only good for stabbing me.

Oh, I'm half Bengali. I'm amazed that you manage to listen to metal at all there.

Also, not having a girlfriend is extremely metal.

As for the topic, I look incredibly unmetal about half the time (unless gothic metal counts, which it shouldn't). I wear velvet/lace/satin dresses and corsets and things. I also go to gothic clubs.

What? There are other Bengali people in this forum other than me?I am simply stunned.:OMG:
So you should understand my struggle to listen to good metal living here.Well,at least I know about true metal. Most people in my country think Linkin Park or Korn is extreme metal.
Off-topic:
If you know Bangali & like power/thrash you should check out this band "Poizon green".This is the best band in my country imo.

I agree with all of that.

My boyfriend has a retarded cat. It can't walk in a straight line, instead it spins to the left in a circle that eventually takes him where he needs to go. He runs into shit all the time.
We had a cat like that, crooked head and everything, it would just run in circles on the porch for hours, and do a series of circles till it got where it wanted to go. So funny. Its gone now though.

never knew you were a girl...

I have watched about four Star Trek episodes and a film, it isn't my thing but I could tell it interested you from your avatar. I find 40k quite dull, it looks good, that is why I got into it but the game itself couldn't keep me hooked outside of something really entertainingly like a mapbased campaign with lots of special objectives. Necromunda and Battlefleet Gothic are great though, I play House Delaque and Eldar Pirates respectively most of the time.

I think the fluff and over tone and atmosphere is great, especially when you look at the Inquisitor side of things, but the game play just feels so shallow. I have a lot more fun and have to think more while playing fantasy. It is a more involved gaming process.

Well there actually isn't any clubs in my area, so I've only been to out of town clubs. I basically agree with you, I've got no problem with most music there, I just don't care for made-for-dance stuff. And my demonias, are a couple inches short of reaching knee-height but when I bought them, they were the only pair they had that fit and were decently priced and there wasn't much for selection. My next pair will be waay better though!

Clubbing is for cunts.

I play Magic the Gathering.

Me too! Only I don't actually have a real collection, I just play on this old-ass computer game that has the 4th-edition stuff on it, plus a surprisingly good computer AI. Occasionally I play a real game with some of my friends who have cards.
