Candlelight Fantasia is one song I'd like to hear live, but someone here mentioned at one point why MJR said they don't play that one in particular. Didn't it have something to do with some guitar parts not suited for live arrangement? Does anyone remember?

When I asked Mike about it this past July, he said that it was because it just wasnt a crowd pleasing number to do live. He said theyve done it a few times in the past but saw that people werent really into it as much as the other songs. I personally would love to see it live, but if they play Out of the Ashes tonight that will suffice .

There's also that delay thing on guitar in a few of the verses, and I don't think MJR does that live. He doesn't do it in The Odyssey's last verses, either. To my knowledge, though, they've never played Candlelight Fantasia in full; it's just what you hear on the live album.

Yes, that's it, the delay effect. That's understandable. But yeah, it would be awesome to hear that one live, despite it being a lot softer than the rest of their set.
