contraversial topic?

Anthrax - Safe Home (sorry guys, I know a lot of you like it, but the whole emotional ballad thing doesn't cut it for me)
I'm with you here. As much as I love Bush-era Thrax, this is definately my least favorite song with Bush on vocals. I wouldn't necessarily define it as a ballad, but it sure sounded like they were trying really hard for radio-play with this one, instead of just being the good old Anthrax that we know and love. The bonus-track acoustic version is even worse.

As for other songs I don't like from favorite bands: AC/DC's "Love Song" - It's only available on rarity releases or old Australian releases, so be glad if you haven't heard it. AC/DC's only ever attempt at a ballad, and thank god they never tried again.

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters, Unforgiven, Enter Sandman

Anthrax - Caught In A Mosh, and I know they're cover songs, but Got The Time and Antisocial

If I never hear any of those tunes again I'd be happy.

my least favorite Anthrax-songs, or let's better say the Anthrax-songs i can't stand are:

1) Toast To The Extras
2) Piss & Vinigar
3) Nobody Knows Anything
4) Strap It On
5) Killing Box

peace!

What are you on crack? Dont get pissed, opinions etc.... #1 is the only one I agree on there..... Love the rest.

Does anyone else notice on Vol 8's P and V the word "Motherfucking" is censored? Was this brought up before? Me and 3 of my other buds have the same problem, and we bought our CD's at Sam Goody. Weird.....

Thanks for reminding me about the overplaying of Enter Sandman :ill: :Puke:

over play of enter sandman, one, nothing else matters, st. anger, until it sleeps......

why cant the rock/metal radio play more of, say, Four Horsemen? Or E.vil N.ever D.ies, Panic, or Ogasmatron (I am aware Mets didnt write 3 of those songs...)

Ok, well, at least you guys are getting rock wherever the fuck you're from. Radio is dying I think. At least here in the city it is. We all function on mp3 players. The other day I rented a zipcar to run errands and forgot my Ipod. The car I had didn't have XM so I was forced to listen to FM. Man, things have changed. The only time I listen to FM is when I'm at the beach.

Carcass - No Love Lost (Not a bad song, but not as good as anything else they've done)

Megadeth (The Risk and The World Needs a Hero albums - awful)

Faith No More - Epic - if I hear this again, I swear I'll scream!

Yes, "Safe Home" isn´t my cup of tea at all.
My Faith No More petvee is the cover of Easy. I´m surprised they still played it on the last tour. Their cover of Greenfields is much better.

i'm sorry but i just don't like those songs. in an interview on the german Anthrax-fansite Rob Caggiano says that "Strap It On" was his most hated Anthrax-song. look for yourself:

i'm an oldschool-metalhead, thrash & death metal-fan, so i'm not impressed at all by mallcore (how other people used to call it if you read postings on different metal-forums).

just my opinion

Iron Maiden - The Assassin (the worst chorus ever ... Better watch out ... coz I'm the Assssssssssssassin - sorry just sounds sooooooooo lame)

Anthrax - Antisocial, not so much a bad song but sick of hearing it rather.

Metallica - 1990 to present day ;p

This comment here made me feel like a total boonies hick. What is a zipcar? Ipods where I am at are damned near stricly for the rich. No one here (at least in my town that I know of) has XM. The car audio dude has a hard time getting customers with it. I am not dissing Alex at all, just kinda made me think "I am sooo small town and not with it." There is a pretty good rock station where I am at. THey play the whole spectrum from Jimi Hendrix all the way to Slayer. They have a program after 10 on saturdays that is damned near NOTHING but thrash and metal as well all here know it. Lincoln Nebraska has a good station called The Blaze, and they play ALOT of the big four and alot of Pantera and other such bands.

Sorry, didn't mean to make you feel small town.
I posted about zipcar in Remington's thread about her car accident with a cop. I just coudn't imagine living anywhere but a city unless I got married and started a family. I haven't heard Slayer in ages on FM around here. The last time I heard Anthrax on the radio was when they released Ball of Confusion. And the last time I heard Pantera on the radio was probably around the time Dimebag passed. RIP.

Ipods aren't that expensive. I think you can get them as cheap as 100 bucks. Mine just got stolen. I'm buying the new one with video and loads of memory. It's 400 but I have to wait until I after I filed my taxes. Last year I owed over 5 thousand bucks and I'm bracing myself this year to owe around the same or maybe slightly less because I made slightly less last year from taking off work so often to go to the beach.
