the best moment on the cd is on the title track when he does the spoken 'dusk..and her embrace' and it goes into that hella crazy epic part. gives me fuckin chills its sooo gooood.

Actually i hate people that try to be extreme and hardcore by only listening to Pure Raw Black Metal and walk around saying fuck christ all day. I just cant do that, BM isnt something i could listen to over and over. I love all the old "kvlt" shit like darkthrone and mayhem, but i like newer bands like Myrkskog and Limbonic Art too. COF isnt BM and i just dont like them or there style. I cant take Dani seriously either. He reminds me of a vampirical troll. And Mortiis is just hilarious...

I haven't heard much of CoF, but from what I have heard, it is alright. But I think I said before that I probably wouldn't buy one of their cds, but who knows, I may come across one of their cds one day and buy it.
Mehn. I dont think Darkthrone intended to please everyone one when they said Norsk Arisk Black Metal (North Aryan Black Metal) on the back of one of there CD's....

Theyve kind of lost there racism as theyve grown. The guitarist/Singer is a school teacher now. He's actually quite talented even though he dosent show it in Darkthrone. And the Drummer Fenriz is excellent. He plays in Eibon (phil anselmo, satyr-satyricon, killjoy-necrophagia, fenriz-darkthrone)
He also plays in Isengard, dødheimsgard, neptune towers and other shit. Darkthrone isnt about great music quality its about atmosphere.

they recorded the album on the 12th moon of Zorgon on top of a hill in the woods od Nebklavar at midnight on a fisher price tape recorder.
the guitars sound like chainsaws, the drums sound like tupper ware and the singer sounds like donald duck snorting coke of a midgets ass......the atmosphere is so aesome dude.

ok. i had to laugh at that, yet argue. It is meant to sound like shit. thats just the way music like that is meant to sound. The vocals are the pure poetry of darkthrone. I love the sound on there albums even though most hate it. I love them and most hate em, so im used to critiscm.

No one here SAID that cof were blackmetal. Every single black metal geek comes up to me and says "Cradle of filth aren't truu, they aren't black metal at all!", and they expect me NOT to yell at them. Everyone who goes on about how COF aren't BM obvuously has issues, and their masculinity is challenged by a five foot tall dwarf, and that doesn't say much for their credibility at all.
If you don't like cradle, fucking fine, but don't come here blabbing to me about how they aren't bm. I'm GLAD they aren't blackmetal because blackmetal is ASS.
