It's funny that everyone who's into "Black Metal Atmosphere" absolutely hates cradle of fitlh with a passion. It's so damn funny that they feel it their "job" to warn people of cradle of filth, simply because THEY are too closed minded to see the numerous good things about cradle of filth...

I know im close minded, but i always have been. Then again i listen to all sorts of music, so im not as bad as some. I dont feel its my duty to warn people about them. If someone asks me if there good, i will say i dont like them, but there early stuff wasnt bad, not something like fuck off you poser, COF isnt BM there shit. There is a difference. I was talking about Darkthrone and i mentioned that COF wasnt BM in reference to that. Dusk is a awesome album ...i like all their material actually but Dusk is just spectacular.
I also like Darkthrone ....wheee... tho i gotta say that their first album Soulside Journey which was a Death metal album is better then their BM stuff ....Transylvanian Hunger, A Blaze in the Northern Sky and Under a funeral Moon are still all classics IMO....

Yes, my narrow mind is sitting here in a bon jovi shirt listening to Atheist. Yup, i'm closed minded, and i only listen to truu metal.
The whole reason this sparked up, is that every time cradle of fitlh gets a mention, SOMEONE has to come here and mention Darkthrone, Emperor or Mayhem, and how they "aren't about good musicianship, they are about atmosphere".
