Pretty much, but not necessarily. Many gypsy families move around only to continue looking for honest work, however temporary it may be; it's part of their history. They'll live out of their cars or caravans and work during the day. I know a family of traveling musicians that does this...they basically live out of their cars and play music on the streets, earning enough to survive and take care of themselves.

Some of them, however, would steal the gold out of a dead man's teeth.

i think eastern european gypsies are different like the others all around the world
