I was using an Ibanez guitar, a metal zone and a samson poweramp thru a vintage 4x12 Marshall for my "mid" guitars. Sami and Dread used a Fender guitar with EMG81 thru a metal zone into a battered old Yamaha 1x12 combo. Anders used some bass, I think we DI'd it.

What do you mean by "mid" guitars?

The guitar parts that can be heard in the middle of the stereo-spectrum.

samis guitar is left-panned, dreads is right-panned, and Swanös is found in the middle

While we're on the subject of equipment, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of drumming equipment was used for the recording of Crimson II. Any info on the set (heads, pedals, and other hardware) would be really appreciated.

The drumtrack for Crimson II was recorded on a digital kit, (drumkat or something) with Dans favorite samples. I dunno what programm he used for it, Reason maybe?
