Crimson II... yeah..

I got this a couple of days ago and cant stop listening to it... I loved CI.. but this one really takes the cake. Mr. Swano pretty much owns the whole melodic metal thing...
Anyone who thinks they might be into it should definitly pick it up.. you wont be dissapointed. I will be playing this one for years.

I thought Crimson II WAS moontower2. cuz it sure aint EoS. Im not saying it's bad, quite the opposite, but it just reminds me more of moontower.

I'm of the opposite opinion. I think it's dreadful, and a complete mockery of the previous Crimson. It's horribly written, bankrupt of any creativity, and an exercise in tedium. Swano resorts to ripping off In Flames and himself with reckless abandon, showing that he hasn't had an original idea in what is now approaching a decade.

Moontower 2? I didn't know that was coming out. Oh sweet god, that was the point where Swano started sucking complete ass. I am avoiding this album like the plague, Moontower 1 was the first sign of the bankruptcy of creativity Swano suffers now. I mean, he completely ripped off Amorphis with that album, it sounds almost dead on like Tales from the Thousand Lakes, just without anything that made that album good. Moontower 2... Swano is dead to me. I hope he retires.

I used to like Swano, until I heard Moontower and Nightingale and now Crimson II. He let me down severely. Complete creative bankruptcy. He's ran out of ideas, plain and simple.
