Silly question perhaps, but i upgraded to cubase 7 from 6.
Do i still need 6? or can i part from it and if in case of a re-install, i wont be needing 6?

I'd use 7 for awhile to make sure everything is running smooth on your system. But you shouldn't need 6 anymore. I'm pretty sure 7 has everything 6 does.

I upgraded from 6 and wish I hadn't. I am really not a fn of the new mixer. I'm getting used to it, but it's really not my thing.

The only thing that makes me rage so far is when cubase won't quit because it's waiting for some sort of video engine or some shit like that.
Other than that, C7 has been pure win.

Can someone explain to me wtf does this mean? I bought it on Jan 3.2013 do I need to pay for the update or do I get it for free?

I see no need to upgrade from 7->7.5 . 7 is stable and the new plugins shouldn't be better than the alternatives i already own. No update for me!

Couldn't find a prizetag yet but I'd get it for less than € 100.00. Re-record mode seems to be the most useful update for what I'm doing right now. Tab to transient, the new Reverb, and Magneto 2 seem nice as well.
