CUBASE>>>going back to the start...

hi guys!
i´ve got a problem!
two weeks ago i recorded drumtracks for some songs and started editing them .stupid enough i didn´t keep any backup of the original versions.now im not satisfied with two songs and want to go back in time to the original unedited versions....is there a possibility to do that?as far as i can see,i can only go back with the editing steps in the running session,not 2 weeks back,right?!?

the files should still be in the audio-folder...

just open that folder and sort by date...then drag the filesback into the session...
you could as well jut open the pool-vindow and search them there...Cubase4 has the media-bay...another possibility

okay,thanks for the help!
i try to pick them out of the pool!will be hell of a work,cause these really long songs were recorded with many punch ins and cuts in the songs,so i will have tons of little snipets...and overlapping areas...argghhhhh....no chance to reconstruct the session..!?!?

have you right-clicked the files and selected "offline processing history?

that's why I have "Consolidate tracks" on a shortkey...using it all the time
saves CPU power as well

what does that do?i just tried it,but i can´t do anything with it to solve my problem,right?!?

you should have a list there of everything you can undo per track. If nothing is there then you are back to your original problem
