Cubase issue question. Anyone have the same issue?

So when i have a good template of a project that i wanna use for all my recordings. I will save the first project file, and then do a edit, select all and delete everything. Then do a save as, for the next project to use the same template. After so many times of doing this cubase seems to get very buggy.....Is this the wrong way of using the same template for projects? Should i be doing somthing different?

That's how I have always done it. That or, in C6 now, it's called "Backup Project," I delete everything in the project window and do that, it has options to not copy over unused media (anything you don't see in the project window). Never had a problem doing that.

But, most of the time I just use one project for all songs. Some people say to do one per song but fuck that, my life has been way easier ever since I started doing it and I don't care if it's "wrong." *shrug*
