Consider me late to the party with Cynic. I still haven't heard Focus all the way though and I've only heard one song from Traced In Air. Anyway, one of the heaviest songs ever:

That was during the Cannibal Corpse show. The 1st opening band was a local band, 2nd was Sinister, then Cynic was 3rd and the place cleared out to the back, so the general consenus that night was nobody liked Cynic. Now, that was '94, maybe they got better since then.

Here's one of my favorite bands from the early 90's. Toranaga is from the U.K., I saw this video back in the early 90's on Headbangers Ball. Unfortunately, their record label "Chrysalis" (if I remember the spelling) didn't do jack sh@t for them and "God's Gift" was their last album.

Lately, I have been listening to Kylesa's new album, Static Tensions. Fucking awesome band. Their older stuff is kind of meh, but this new one fucking rules!

It's really hard for me to pick a favorite song from that album, it being my favorite Pantera record. "Slaughtered" is defanitly up there, but it's really ripper after ripper on that one. Dime's got a monster guitar tone on songs like "Use My Third Arm", "5 Minutes Alone" and "25 Years" (Phil sounds like he's about to rip someone throat out on that one). It's one of those albums for me, gives me that overwhelming sence of energy. Blabbing done
