Just started using "flex time" to edit the cymbals from my overheads and it seems to be working pretty sweet. Has anyone else tried this? And are there any things to watch out for? (ie. will the movements be noticeable) Also, the "monophonic" mode seems to be working out really good for me, what mode do you think would be best? Thanks.

Use "slicing" for drums. You don't want to stretch the audio, but just move it without all the cutting and fading. Make sure you group the cymbals, and select phase locked audio under the group settings if you have more than one overhead mic. Keeps your shit from getting all whacked. You'd be surprised how well quantizing worked for me. Just got rid of the extra transient bars and it was pretty solid.
