Just got the word last night from the Transatlantic camp that Daniel will be joining the tour as a special guest, similar to what he did on the 2001 tour. After the Progressive Nation debacle, it is nice to see him finally back on our soil under a new administration--

This almost makes going to a Transatlantic concert worth it for me. Frankly even though I like Neal Morse a lot and the Flower Kings a lot, Transatlantic itself never piqued my interest.

If only he would tour with Pain of Salvation instead of Transatlantic...

Anyways, it's kinda cool that DG will be touring with Transatlantic. I'm sure it makes the tour much more special for all of the Transatlantic fans who will get the treat of a lifetime. That being said, no one would ever convince me to go watch Transatlantic live. 90% of their material bores me to tears.

Well, the tour's in progress. Anyone go? Have a review? Planning to go? I have the opportunity to go in NYC Friday, but not committed.

i saw the Downey show, what a great show! about 3 hrs and 15 mins i think. Here was the setlist:

The Whirlwind

--------------
Intermission
--------------
All of the Above
We All Need Some Light(W/Roine on Vocals)
Duel with the Devil

Encores:
Bridge Across Forever
Stranger in Your Soul

It was so good, i had seen Neal a couple years ago, but to hear these guys do Stranger in Your Soul was so amazing. Just watched Mike play was a treat.

Whirlwind sounded so much better live than on cd, it just seemed to flow better. Don't miss it if you have the chance!

I'm pissed off. Now that I'm in the US, none of the dates or cities are right for me. Then they go to Europe just two weeks earlier than me.

I'm really disappointed. I hope they will release something or tour anytime soon... I don't want to wait eight years...
