And here's the second part of the Survivor. No third part from now on, as all the songs fit within these polls.

Last round was a bad one for The Mind's I, as it lost two more songs, bringing the total amount of songs from that album remaining to mere 4. Of the other albums, Skydancer has 5 songs left, Of Chaos and Eternal Night 2, The Gallery 7, Projector 6, after losing Dobermann last round, Haven 6 and Damage Done 8, which is quite surprising - perhaps people haven't yet got bored of many songs from that album..? :err:

Anyways, REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR THE LEAST GOOD SONG AND IN BOTH PARTS!

the gallery. this part was easier because i never thought this song was particularly good. almost everything else on the record it's on does the same things gallery does, only better. for some reason, i also find the lyrics slightly too "artsy" for dark tranquillity standards. they're certainly philosophical and deep as always, but i find it overacted somehow, as if they had been trying too hard.

Mine is the Grandeur...Of Melancholy Burning. I'm mainly a post-Gallery DT fan, and I can't even remember how this one goes at all (even though I have given The Gallery it's fair share of chances). That isn't a good sign.

away, delight, away. back in the day, that catchy intro and that part at about 3:05 got stuck in my head for days, and it was a nuisance! :yell: plus, I think that talking part at 4:00 is just goofy

The Gallery... I never found it to be one of the better DT songs... and the reasons rahvin said.
I guess I never really liked the female vocal part... usually when the song got to that part I would skip to the next track... maybe i wa snever i nteh mood for the song....

BTW, I can't believe none you people who voted for Away, Delight, Away took the opportunity to say "away, Away, Delight, Away, away."

The word you are looking for is "pretentious." Happy to help.

I triple-post.

Choosing between the mediocre songs Feast of Burden, At Loss for Words and Of Chaos and Eternal Night, I finally decided against the first one, as it has some of the worst DT-lyrics ever, I think.

not more than a game and you already use the adjective "mediocre" for a song lol... I guess it's ironic. Anyway art is as subjective as the appreciation you have to put above it. But I guess this subject has already went through. Nevermind me.
