I don't really like to label bands, but I have been growing up with dark wave and gothic, cause we use to have a big scene here, which moved to Bielefeld later... and you still find it in Bielefeld.
Anyway, you can take HR under pagan folk...

Is Sirenia similar or just a totally separate thought from the Tristania?

@nomad : it's very similar to Tristania (it's supposed to be the following of Beyond the veil). The female voice seems to have a weaker sound than it has in tristania, thought.

@tranze : lacrimas profundere is great another french band if i'm not wrong =D

Yeap, I agree here, the female voice could be better, but they still search for a good one...

YES!!! I have no clue about darkwave/gothic stuff,
but I was like "these bands aren't darkwave?!?!!?"
Ok, so I'm not alone >P hehe...

Indeed, Mortiis has lots of awesome stuff. Very beautiful indeed.
