Dead Can Dance

I pretty much disliked everything I've heard from their post- Within the Realm period(Aion, included), save for a few tracks on The Serpent's Egg.
I wish there was more stuff in their catalogue that's reminiscent of Within the Realm of a Dying Sun.:erk:

I have "Serpent's Egg". It is very good and i love some of the songs on it... Still i wonder if one should not rather listen to the originals that Dead Can Dance use as inspiration. While atmospherically some of the music is absolutely great, sometimes it seems like a incoherent mix.
Anyway, i am thinkoing about buying Aion.

Been getting into this band recently thanks to a certain teacher at school. 'Toward The Within' is fantastic.

I love Dead Can Dance. My favorite songs include Summoning Of The Muse, The Host Of Seraphim, The Carnival Is Over, Xavier, Rakim, and Cantara. Seriously, such an incredible band. I wish I had a chance to see them live.

Love this band I have a 2CD compilation CD and towards within DVD. I'm thinking of getting Aion and their last album.

It doesn´t seem very likely, because according to an interview with Lisa Gerrard which I recently read in a magazine, it seemed that she and Brendan didn´t get on too well with each other after their reunion-tour. However, in April, Lisa does a solo-tour in Europe (I´ll be seeing her live on April 18th) and her first solo-concerts in Australia and in May she tours in North America. Maybe she plays somewhere near your place and you still get tickets. Check her website www.lisagerrard.com for the touring dates.

Bah!

Going to miss her shows.

Can't travel to either Sydney or Melbourne for them.

Oh, well.

She's Australian, so she'll be back eventually. :)
