shit, I heard this song about two years ago and I can't remember the band's
name nor the title and its really bothering me.
It starts off with this epic classical piece, with strings and later with some
horns coming in, kinda like the intro to "the ride of the valkyrie"
it has that tone to it.
Its not an original classical piece though, I've heard that piece played
many times elsewhere but unfortunately I can't remember that name either.
Anyways, after the horns kick in the guitars just pound in with heavy
power chords following the melody of the strings, but at this point the
orchestra isn't playing anymore.

I don't know if that is much of a description but thats about all i could
explain in words about the song.
The song overall is death metal, with fast drumming and death vocals,
not too screachy but not too low either.
It'll be awesome if someone could figure out what this song's called.
Thanks for all replies.

No it wasn't "O Fortuna".
It's also not Massacra either.
I haven't heard of Golem, so I'll look into them and see if
they're the guys I'm looking for.
Thanks for the replies and keep them coming,
if you could think of anything it'll really help me out
because this is one of those things, that if you can't get out of your head
its gonna bother you forever until you figure it out
so thanks again for all replies.

I forgot to note that I also remember the song being pretty heavy and the production being relatlively clear.
The song in all is sorta mid-paced with fast drumming.

Atrocity's "The clash of the Titans" sorta conveys the same tone as
this song, except this song was much more raw and brutal
with less emphasis on melody.

Maybe Vital Remains... though the classical piece is the first track...

That's what I was gonna say.

Waltari -Yeah! Yeah! Die! Die! (Death Metal Symphony In Deep

I just registered to answer that question :p Hope this helps !

Not that I want to take this completely off-topic but... Why exactly do you say that?

Because it's used in like every "scifi/action" movie ever or whatever. By now I think it's gotten so cliche that they only ever use it in spoofs any more.
